Who we are
The Current is an open publishing site of Educator Innovator and provides a forum for the sharing of resources and stories about what we as educators are observing, doing, and reflecting upon related to connecting learning and teaching.
We invite you to Participate and thank you for your contributions.
Educator Innovator and its partners support learning opportunities for teachers, youth workers, mentors, librarians, and museum educators that are open, re-mixable, and typically free or low-cost — and share the goal of more powerful and connected learning for youth. We do not see learning as the province of one institution or service, but rather sees our learning institutions and organizations as a larger ecosystem for learning, one that can be more powerful by being more connected.

Educator Innovator is powered by the National Writing Project. The National Writing Project (NWP) is a nationwide network of educators working together to improve the teaching of writing in the nation's schools and in other settings. NWP provides high-quality professional development programs to teachers in a variety of disciplines and at all levels, from early childhood through university, as well as outside of schools.
